Privacy Policy

Last updated: 22 September 2026

1. Who we are

Studio Hammarö AB ("Studio Hammarö", "we", "us") is a gallery specialising in Scandinavian design and antiques, based in Sweden. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use our website, why we collect it, and the rights you have over it. If you have any questions, you can reach us at kristian@studioham.se.

2. Information we collect

We only collect information that you choose to share with us directly, through one of the forms on this website:

  • Contact and enquiry forms — name, email address, and the message you send us.
  • Basket enquiries — name, contact details, and the pieces you are enquiring about.
  • Sälj till oss (sell to us) — your contact details and a description of the item you would like to sell to us, including any images you choose to attach.
  • Trade Program applications — your name, contact details, company name, VAT number, business address, business type, website or social media, and details about your business.

We do not process online payments on this website, so we never collect or store payment card details. All prices are provided on request and any purchase is arranged directly with our team.

3. How we use your information

We use the information you provide to:

  • Respond to your enquiries, sell requests, and Trade Program applications.
  • Provide price information, availability, and arrange viewing, purchase or collection of items.
  • Send you Trade Program updates, new arrivals or Trade pricing by email, but only where you have explicitly opted in to receive them.
  • Maintain records of our correspondence with you for customer service purposes.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes.

4. Legal basis for processing

Where the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies, we process your information on the basis of your consent (for example, when you tick a box to receive Trade updates), and on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries you have voluntarily submitted to us.

5. How we store your information

Form submissions are stored securely in our content management system (Sanity). We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your enquiry, manage our business relationship with you, or comply with our legal obligations, after which it is deleted.

6. Basket storage on your device

To keep your basket if you refresh the page or return later, we save the identifiers and quantities of the pieces in your basket in your browser's local storage. This stays on your device, is not sent to us until you submit an enquiry, and does not include any personal information. It is removed when you clear your basket, send an enquiry, or clear your browser data.

7. Analytics

We use Vercel Analytics to understand, in aggregate, how visitors use our website (for example, which pages are viewed). This service does not use cookies to track you across other websites and does not identify you personally.

8. Your rights

If the GDPR applies to you, you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, to object to or restrict our processing of it, and to withdraw any consent you have given us (for example, to unsubscribe from Trade Program updates) at any time. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at kristian@studioham.se.

If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your information, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten, IMY).

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes to our practices. The date at the top of this page indicates when it was last revised.
